Our office isn’t filled with hundreds of dusty, outdated books that haven’t been looked at in years. Nor is it cold and impersonal.

When you arrive, you’ll be surprised at how much thought has been put into making this space feel like a living room at your best friend’s house.

You’re welcome to help yourself to something warm from the coffee bar (the Lemon Lift tea is our favorite), grab a fuzzy blanket, or put your feet up while we work on what’s been so hard for you lately.

This is YOUR space and YOUR time: uninterrupted and unapologetic.

Above all else, we want you to be comfortable.

That’s our number one goal. There’s power in telling your story, but we’ll never get there if you don’t feel safe to share it with us.

So, when we meet for the first time, we may ask about your pets, the latest show you’re binge-watching on Netflix, or which flavored coffee you chose from our coffee bar.

If you decide to meet with us virtually, grab your favorite drink, a notebook, and a comfortable seat.

We’re here to work, but work doesn’t have to be uncomfortable. It’s okay to relax!

Once you’re all settled, we’ll go through your intake paperwork to verify some important details.

After that, the rest of the session is all about you and the stressors that have been keeping you from living the life you deserve.

You can expect a completely collaborative process the entire time we work together. Sure, we’re experts on mental health, but you’re the expert at knowing you. So, we’re going to need your input.

This might look like the two of us exploring the DSM (that big ol’ diagnostic book you’ve heard of), or us sharing a laptop to play a YouTube video, or you reading the ridiculous text you got from your ex last weekend that has your head spinning!

Whatever it is, bring it!

Early on, we’ll start mapping out the direction of our future sessions: how often we meet, what your goals are, and the next practical steps to help you move forward. We do what works for you because therapy is not one-size-fits-all.
